Project Status

AMPYR Solar Europe (ASE) submitted the planning application for Witney Solar Farm in December 2024, and is awaiting a decision in May, in time for the NESO grid reform Gate 2 process.  ASE already has an option to lease, as well as a grid connection accepted for this project.

With an export capacity of 39MWp, plus the potential for a 30MW BESS, the facility will generate enough power for the equivalent of approximately 12,000 homes, whilst saving around 12,800 tonnes per year of CO₂.
