Project Status

AMPYR Solar Europe (ASE) acquired the site in 2024 and now has a lease in place, as well as an accepted grid connection. Build is due to start July/August 2025.

With a DC capacity of 55 MWp, plus the potential for a 18MW BESS, the facility will generate enough power for the equivalent of approximately 19,000 homes, whilst saving around 16,000 tonnes per year of CO₂.
