Project Status
ASE submitted the planning application for Mount Field Solar Farm in July 2025 and received consent by committee on 9th March 2026. ASE already has an option to lease, as well as a grid connection accepted for this project.
With an export capacity of c.58 MWp, plus the potential for a 40 MW BESS, the facility has the potential to generate enough power for the equivalent of approximately 16,000 homes a year, whilst saving around 17,000 tonnes per year of CO₂.
