The Opportunity

We are seeking some dynamic Investment Interns to join the core team at ASE this summer, focusing on our renewable energy portfolio across the UK, the Netherlands, and Germany. This role offers a unique opportunity to thrive in an entrepreneurial setting, requiring the ability to juggle multiple tasks independently and efficiently.

Job Responsibilities

• Assist in developing and refining financial models under the guidance of senior members, including conducting sensitivity analysis and learning VBA / Macro automation
• Support in the preparation of reports and presentations for review by the investment committee
• Aid in analysing and improving portfolio review processes
• Contribute to the creation of capital budgeting frameworks and assist in periodic forecasts
• Provide assistance in responding to shareholder inquiries and contribute to preparations for meetings
• Assist in the creation of various reports and presentations, such as Quarterly Valuation Reports
• Conduct market research and analysis to support investment strategies
• Collaborate with the Asset Management team to gain insights into investment performance

Requirements

• The successful candidate will be currently enrolled in a relevant degree program or recent graduate
• Familiarity with Excel and other Microsoft Office tools
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn
• In-depth understanding of financial analysis metrics such as yield, IRR, and NPV
• Strong communication skills and ability to engage with various stakeholders
• Team player with enthusiasm for contributing to team goals
• Fluent in English with excellent writing skills
• Proficiency in another European language (German or Dutch) is preferred but not mandatory
• Knowledge of VBA/Python or another programming language is a plus

AMPYR Solar Europe (ASE) was created in 2021 through the merger of NaGa Solar with the existing AMPYR Energy UK solar joint venture between AGP Group and Hartree Partners. The merger created a major European Solar Enterprise with a combined pipeline of over 4GW of large-scale ground- mount and rooftop solar projects in the UK, Germany and the Netherlands and a team of over 30 experienced renewable development professionals.
