The Opportunity
We are seeking a dynamic Investment Analyst (Commercial Strategy) to join the core Investment team at ASE, focusing on our renewable energy portfolio across the UK, the Netherlands, and Germany. This role offers a unique opportunity to thrive in an entrepreneurial setting, requiring the ability to handle a variety of tasks independently and efficiently.
Job Responsibilities
Work on the revenue modelling for various solar and BESS assets that ASE has or wishes to acquire.
Support the ASE commercial team with providing financial returns analysis for their PPA negotiations.
Work on and formulate the ASE BESS strategy based on various internal/ external market constraints.
Work on financial models, keeping them updated on a day-to-day basis to enable the wider Investment team to conduct various analyses.
Requirements
3+ years of financial modelling experience, especially in BESS and in renewable energy.
Strong understanding of PPA markets, balancing services markets, negative pricing etc in EU and the UK regions.
Motivation to work in innovative space.
Ability to work in tight deadlines with minimal supervision.
Team-oriented, enthusiastic, and committed to contributing to our collective goals.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Fluent in English with superior writing skills.
Proficiency in another European language (German or Dutch) is preferred but not mandatory.

AMPYR Solar Europe (ASE) was created in 2021 through the merger of NaGa Solar with the existing AMPYR Energy UK solar joint venture between AGP Group and Hartree Partners.
